I was told by our friends and all along saying my chickens are Buff Orpington's. I just had someone on here see a picture and said they look like New Hampshire's. I don't think they are New Hampshire's but maybe Red Orpington's or Rhode Island Reds? They are darker red then most Buffs I've seen and someone messaged me and asked if their tail feathers are iridescent. Well I'll be , the two roos have iridescent tail feathers. So it looks like they are not Buff Orpington's.

Yeah. Or Red Sex Links...they generally have white on them, also, but since they're not a pure breed, that shouldn't always be the case.

Yep, they were bred to be more of a dual purpose breed. Heavier build from the New Hampshire side and better laying from the RIR side.
