"Did you? I don't know... I think it's that way." He thumped his tail in the direction he had come.

"Okay then. Let's go get it. Can you come, or are you in too much pain?" Lily asked

He inspected her face, trying to tell if she was mocking him.
"Hmph..." Storm grunted as he used the pine branch again. Finally he got up and started hop-walking again.

Lily walked slowly so that Storm could keep up. This is going to take forever, she thought

"I'm not sure how much help I'd be carrying it back." He admitted. "Maybe I should go straight to camp, or..." I don't really want to go to camp like this, it would be humiliating.

"See you there." Lily started towards where the deer carcass was. She grabbed its legs and started back to camp. As she took a step backward, she ran into something. Turning around, she found herself face to face with the cougar.
"May I have that deer, please?" The cougar asked.
Lily growled. "No. Go get your own food."

Lily is weird and unpredictable. I don't know what to think of her. His eyes widened and he fell again as he saw a raccoon running towards him. He gave it a sharp bark, and it swerved away. That was weird. Something must have been chasing it.
