Lily glanced over at Storm once more before disappearing into the forest. She was bent on figuring out what had happened to the pup.

Lily crept quietly through the trees, making her way to where she had left the pup. When she got there, all she saw were tufts of fur and some old, dried blood. Not a good sign.

Lily sniffed the air. She could tell that the cougar had been here...Lily gulped. If the cougar got the pup, she would never forgive herself.

Comet was taking his afternoon nap when Momo came bouncing up. "Hi, Comet! How are you doing? It's such a beautiful day, don't you think? Have any plans today?" Comet bit back a growl. Momo was so annoying! Also, it was not a beautiful day. It was cloudy and bleak.
