Ponderosa stumbled out of the bush. She was trembling and the echo of the bullet still rung in her ears. "...Are you okay?" Ponderosa asked the brown loner. "You saved my live! Will you meet me by the stream tomorrow? Well, see you." She whispered, and with a quick half smile she added. "I have to go." And with that, she trotted shakily towards Rex's call.
