Holly and Pine stared at the meat hungrily. Only skin and bones, they couldn't resist. Holy and Pine dug into the food, almost appearing savage, they were so hungry"It's ok dear, why don't you two eat something," She passed over two hunks of meat

Holly and Pine stared up at her. They didn't know who she was, but she'd saved them from the brink of death. She watched the two precious pups and thought who could've abandoned two pups...
(no offense?)
(You bet.(Can I act out the pups when your not present, since they're in my care?)
(Sooo...I don't know who else is taking the pups, so I'm just going to have Zelda drop the other pups (Ivy and Willow) off in the forest, and whoever else who is adopting them can pick them up.)
Zelda made her way with Ivy and Willow towards the pack's camp, getting ready to depart with the last of her beloved pups. Her tears flowed freely now, drenching the sleeping forms of her pups. As she made her way to the camp, she felt herself grow weaker...she couldn't go on...Zelda lay the pups on a boulder covered in soft moss, hoped someone would find them, and limped a little way into the woods. She glanced back. She could see Ivy and Willow sleeping peacefully. By the time they awoke, she'd be gone. Not just in departing them, but also in life.
Zelda made her way deeper into the trees. She could hear the crickets chirping, the frogs giving their mighty croaks, the owl hooting in the distance...the still, velvety dark of night was full of calm, of peace. Zelda looked up at the sky and could see a galaxy of stars up above, offering a light in the darkness. Zelda let her gaze wander about the forest, where she'd wandered her entire life, where she'd grown up, from a small pup, wiggling and squirming, laughing as she played in the warm summer sun, to now, a tired, starving wolf, about to find peace at last. Zelda slowly collapsed to the ground. She stared up at the sky, and, at that moment, she felt at rest. As the world she knew faded away, Zelda was ridden of pain, of fear, of sorrow - she was going home.
(( I almost cried )
(Starvation. All the food she was given or caught she gave to the pups. Where she was, at least, there was little food except a long way away, and she soon became too hungry to travel far.)( Why did she die? )
