Yuki put herself into a submissive stance as she walked, making sure to keep her head low to hide any stray bits of rabbit that might still be on her face

Risk lay where he had fallen, frustration rising within him. Ugh, stop it with the self pity, Risk. Get yourself together. He stood. I will rise to the top. One day...

He began walking back towards the pack, making sure to go a different route than River.

"Thank you. I will choose wisely," said Eilidh, containing her excitement with difficulty. She bowed and turned away.
(I'll be back in 30 minutes.)

"Now," Eilidh thought to herself, "Who ought I take with me? Who is even here in this pack? River, Aspen, Comet.....Luna....Boots--wait, wait no, he's dead--...Risk...and the two omegas. Is there anyone I'm missing..."

"Ah! I forgot Storm....now who would I get along best with?" Eilidh wondered. "A beta would be good to have along, so either Aspen, Comet, or River. Hmm...Comet's a bit harsh, as he was treating Pigeon and Yuki unfairly earlier. Then perhaps Aspen? I'll have to think about it. And Luna?---she seems rather nice."

Dragon emerged from his den. "I will let you choose a partner, and I will be making a separate group. Both groups will travel together in two different directions" he told eilidh
