Zelda knee that the Alpha would follow, so she ran as far as she could in the opposite direction. As she went, she snagged a rabbit

Lavender continued to follow the other loner. She stayed in the shadows, not wanting to be seen. She didn’t really like other loners, but she wanted to make sure this one was okay. She had said something about pups, and Lavender wanted to figure out what was happening.

 

[Starburst]

Zelda, exhausted, flopped on her side, but started to struggle to her feet again

Lavender watched the other loner. She looked exhausted, and tired, and weak. Lavender looked at her with sympathy, it was hard to be a loner.

Zelda scrambled to her feet, and, thinking she’d lost the wolves, made her way to the pups. (Gtg)

Lavender followed the loner, determined to see what was happening. Lavender didn’t care much for the pack, and she wanted to know what this loner did to anger them. Lavender wanted to stay on the pack’s good side, though loners are never liked by packs anyways. She just watched the other loner.

 

[Starburst]

Zelda slipped into the cave, where her young pups lay in the den, still unable to see as they whimpered for their mother. “Shh, I’m here,” She whispered soothingly. The wolf, so aggressive and fierce, was completely different with these little ones

Lavender watched the she-wolf enter her den. Hmm, what could be in there? Oh duh, silly Lavender, pups. That’s why she said pups when she was fighting with the pack wolves.

 

[Starburst]

Zelda sat down next to the pups, licking them tenderly.

Lavender crept over to the den, looking in for the loner. She didn’t really know why, she was just interested in this one. She had met a lot of loners in her life, and most of them attacked her and stole her food.
