"Do you think the pack will go on a hunt soon?" Pigeon asked, looking back at her thin and malnourished figure

Yuki shrugged. "Who knows? If they do, we probably won't get any food anyways." Though she wasn't quite as small as Pigeon, she was very small for a wolf and it was clear that she was almost starving. She lowered her voice "I might go and look for some berries later this night, though."

"I'll just go. I'll gather enough for both of us, and if I get caught, then I'll take the punishment. I'm just so hungry. I haven't eaten in more than a week." Yuki smiled. She didn't usually complain, but today she was feeling a little tired of being hungry all the time

"Well I'll go with you, if you get punished I will too" Pigeon said, trying to sound confident. She knew nobody in the pack liked her because she wasnt the same breed as them, and she knew that they dont hold back just because of her size
