Boots sat, a look of horror in his face, until his eyes finally glazed over.

Storm watched the omega as she was pulled to the alpha's den. Storm sighed, she was getting hungry. I thought the pack was going to go on a hunt!

He sniffed the air... blood... blood! Storm sniffed again, wolf blood! He raced over to the edge of camp where he found Boots laying dead in an ocean of red. Boots! What happened?! "Alpha. Alpha?" He called calmly. "There is a dead wolf."
