Risk pranced out of the pack limits and into the woods. It felt good to get away every once and a while. Acting submissive wore on him.

Lavender slowly walked, trying to spot any food available. She wasn’t seeing anything, so she just continued walking.

Risk paused, hearing soft pawsteps. His black ears perked up and his muscles tightened, ready to run.

Lavender picked up a faint scent of a wolf, but shrugged it off as she was in pack territory after all. She continued carefully maneuvering around the trees, making sure to keep an eye out for foes and food.

Risk crouched down on all fours, following his sense of smell and hearing. He quietly stalked through the bushes, heart pounding in his chest.

River just got done digging the grave for boots, so she decided to silently follow Risk. She knew there was another loner, and she was debating on alerting the alphas

Lavender continued to hunt, still not seeing anything. She smelled that smell again, but she just shrugged it off, like she did the time before.

As Risk crawled out into an opening, he saw a small loner wolf hunting. He relaxed slightly, but suddenly, the hair on his neck rose. Something was wrong. He glanced behind himself anxiously. He had been so focused on finding the source of sound that he hadn't even bothered to check if he was being followed.
