Cherry leaped onto Zelda's back and pinned her down. "Don't even THINK about it!" She yowled with rage. "You already killed one pack member, and you won't get another! Why should I let you take OUR food?" She snarled. (Cherry is heavy and can pin Zelda down easily.)

Zelda yelped from the impact. When she heard what the Alpha said, her eyes widened with shock and horror. “Killed? One of your pack mates was killed? Who did it? I assure you, I am not to blame.” Her voice trembled

Storm trotted up behind Cherry, ready to back her up if needed. He put a threatening expression on his face as he looked at the loner. Come on... let me have a chance to prove myself!

Finally Storm decided to do something that he could save Cherry from. Hmmm... He thought, inspecting the area around them but keeping the same threatening glitter in his eyes. There's a branch... a dead one above Cherry and the loner. He observed. Then sneaking a peek around his paws Storm noticed a firm sapling ...and that sapling, there... I could probably knock it into the dead one, making it fall... and then... well... it will land on her paws which are pinning the loner... so the loner will be free to fight, and then I can attack the stupid loner, supposedly saving alpha. He carefully traced his plan. And I will run in between the falling branch so it looks like I would give my life for her... and she wouldn't see me because I'm behind her and she is distracted by the loner... He smiled to himself without moving a muscle on his face.
