"You sure he's your pup? I could have sworn the other wolf who scared me away and carried this pup before I got it back was the mom..." Thunder shrugged.
‘ Who?’ Lavender asked, confused. Was Zelda back?
Thunder snorted. "Do I look like I know? A wolf ran at me, grabbed this pup in its mouth, and ran. I followed the wolf, and after a while, the wolf set the pup on the ground. Then they left. And now I have my meal."
‘ No, you don’t.’ Lavender lunged at the cougar, grabbing onto its neck with her jaws.
Thunder let out a blood-chilling scream. As he opened his jaws, Cedar fell to the ground.
Lavender quickly let go of the cougars neck, and grabbed Cedar. ‘ See y’a.’ She called out behind her as she ran into the woods.
"Nooo! I want my supper! Is that too much to ask?" Thunder wailed. His face crumpled, and he began an epic temper tantrum.
After running for a bit, Lavender decided she was far enough away from the cougar. She gently put Cedar on the ground. ‘ Cedar? Are you alive?’ She asked, tears welling up in her eyes.
*Cedar lives, but still lies in his crumpled, unconscious form*
