Zelda looked him in the eye. "I promise. I'll tell you everything you need to know about me, why I killed that wolf...everything. You can surround me, do anything you like to keep me from escaping. But I promise I won't even try."

"Listen, sir. I would, but I can't really talk that well in this position." Even now, Zelda's breath was coming in quick, sharp gasps. "And besides-" Zelda paused to get more air, "It doesn't matter. I'm already losing enough oxygen as it is."

Zelda opened her mouth to speak, but couldn't catch her breath. Her sides rose and fell quickly. She lifted her head to try again, but again couldn't. Zelda brought her head to the ground
