(Uh...no thanks?)(Can dragon just put her out of her misery?)
Zelda took a deep breath. "Alright." She glanced over at Dragon. "And please, don't kill me."Cherry let up on her grip a little. "There, now you can breath." She whispered kindly into Zelda's ear.
"Let up a little, Aspen." Cherry told Aspen.
Aspen obeyed.
"You promised you wouldn't run!" Growled Cherry, acting mean again. But she winked as Zelda when Dragon wasn't looking. "Now, give us all the information! I won't let Dragon hurt you unless it's...well, never mind."
Zelda looked down at the ground, then stared Cherry dead in the eye. Then a thought sprang in her head. "Do you want me to tell you everything? Like, my background and stuff?""I won't let him. At least not yet." Cherry said. Then she waited.
"Okay, then." Zelda cleared her throat and then began. "I was born in another pack. The Howl Stone Pack. As a pup, there wasn't any playing or fun. I was taught at a young age how to fight. And fight well. Instead of playing an innocent game of tug-of-war, I'd be wrestling. If one of the wolves caught me playing a game like tag, they'd say it was a waste of time, and that me and the other pups would be punished. The older wolves would-well, let's say what they did to us wasn't good. If you showed any signs of weakness - you would be banished, or destroyed. My own sister died in a wrestling match that got a little carried away." Zelda paused, her eyes in a distant place, her face showing the pain from the memory plainly"Yes, that would be great if you could."
Zelda nodded. "After my sister died, my brother went soon after. As you can imagine, me and my parents were devastated. My parents confronted the Alphas. The first to ever do so. I was there. The Alphas only laughed, said my parents were too weak. Next thing I knew, I was an orphan." Zelda stared at the ground. "The Alphas said they were merciful, and indeed they were. They spared my life, banishing me instead. They-they gave me a souvenir, of course. It wasn't that bad, not really. But this scar was a permanent mark of my shame, my banishment." Zelda paused to show Cherry the ugly wound that ran from her cheek to her stomach.Cherry's eyes widened. "Oh, I'm sorry." She murmured. "Please keep going."
