Lily shrugged and kept walking. She went over to the food pile and grabbed a piece for both Storm and her. "Here you go." She smiled

Lily laughed at his reaction and tore into her own food. "So, who's this new wolf? I guess I've never seen her. Then again, I don't know most of the wolves here."

"Well, I was lying under a bush thinking about-" Lily paused when she remembered she'd been thinking about Storm. Lily coughed. "Anyway, I overheard Cherry and Comet talking about Zelda, how Cherry let Zelda go so she could earn Zelda's trust and such."

"Cherry saw me and thought I'd been eavesdropping. I assured her that I'd just been thinking, and then she demanded to know what I was thinking about. I told her, and she believed me. Well, sort of. She told me I couldn't go into the forest until further notice. I was going to listen to her, but then I grew really hungry and I went to catch a rabbit. As I was chasing one, I caught Zelda's scent and followed it. I came upon the same pup who I rescued earlier, so I grabbed it and ran in case the cougar was nearby. I saw Zelda in the distance, but I thought she was trying to kill the pup. So I kept running." Lily explained. "She eventually caught up to me and I realized my mistake and gave Zelda her pup. And that's about it."
