Zelda, fatigued, stole away in the dark, the sleeping forms of Holly and Pine in her mouth. She made her way to the same spot where she'd put Cedar and Oak and lay them down. A single tear plopped onto Holly's nose. Zelda turned and raced back into the forest, fighting back her tears.
