Comet took a deep breath. ”Besides, herding is important. Now, let’s get to it! See if you can herd two or more to us, if not, that's okay.” he added
"Okay." Storm said, bitterly.
”Great!” Comet crouched in the grass, ready for him to bring on the deer.
Lily lay in her den, waiting for Storm to return. She felt nauseous and exhausted, but she didn't know why.
Storm snuck around the back of the herd. Then with a loud bark, he lept into the deer, trying to chase an old buck towards the two waiting wolves.
Come on...you can do it, Storm! Comet thought.
As soon as it was close enough Neo sprang from the tall grass, latching on with his teeth and dragging it down.
Storm slowed himself down to a stop. Panting, he watched the newcomer as he pulled down the deer.
Comet nodded silently to himself. He’s a good hunter...I’ll have to report that to the Alphas. Then he leaped forward and helped pin the deer.
Neo drug it down and went for the neck, it was a large and old buck, so he waited for the beta to help.
