Yuki nodded, ”I see.” she had been eager to keep talking to this wolf who didn’t seem interested in killing her, but now she didn't know what to say.

Yuki nodded. ”Yes. He killed one of our wolves, Momo, recently. Rumor has it that another one of our pack, Sirius, ran off to be his mate. Nightmare comes in the dead of night, silent, stalking. They say if you are his unlucky victim, you awaken to the stench of death, and find yourself starting into his cruel, bloodthirsty eyes. His black fur is matted with blood of the fallen, and that is all you see. Then, he strikes, and you know no more, save for blinding pain. Why?”
