Neo winced as yuki howled in pain, an idea flashed in his head," beta, did you hear that?!" He said cocking his head toward the fake noise.

Comet shook his head. "Nope." He let his teeth sink into Yuki's side.
Yuki bit back another scream of pain, putting on a brave face. She wasn't going to give Comet the satisfaction to see her writhing in pain anymore.

Neo couldn't watch, he didn't want to get kicked out, he'd been searching for a pack for years and had finally found one, now he was faced with a decision, help yuki and be kicked out , or let his only friend be attacked .

Yuki turned and stared him in the eyes. Go. I'll be fine, I'm used to this, her eyes seemed to say.

Neos face hung low, I'm so sorry, he silently thought, neo turned and walked into the woods, holding back from killing comet, he could have done it, but he'd changed his old ways along time ago....

Yuki watched him slowly disappear into the trees and felt at peace. Then she felt something piercing her throat, and everything went black.

Apparently Storm's old ways had not completely faded. He sprung onto Comet and bit into his enemy's scruff.
