Cedar smiled kindly, then trotted off. Eventually, they came into a glade with rich, cool soil covered in small, purple flowers that gleamed in the setting sun. Boulders blanketed in soft moss lined a brook that bubbled and frothed as it rushed over stones. The water settled into quiet pools, only to spill out in miniature waterfalls. Frogs croaked softly nearby, and the hum of crickets fill the air. "Do you like it?" Cedar asked softly, with a smile.

Cedar felt abashed that he had nothing to give her after she brought the rabbits, so he looked around, trying to find a hasty gift. He saw the vibrant purple flowers and pulled some up, offering them to her.
