I would just like to mention that...if it is a male, do NOT try to get it a companion...females will make babies...and it is EXTRAORDINARILY uncommon for 2 male mice, especially wild mice, to coexist peacefully. If it is a female and you keep it, please do try to get it female companions (if it is a house mouse anyway....if its another species, such as deer mouse, do not put domestic house/fancy mice with it!). Male house mice are highly territorial with other males and 99% of the time if multiple males are kept together someone is going to end up dead or seriously injured once they are fully matured.
