My chickens have lice, I'm done wailing, and now it's time to take action. I'm going to use Sevin dust for the girls. Do I need to strip the entire coop then put down Sevin, or can I mix Sevin into the existing shavings? Also, do I need to spray the walls with Oxine or anything?

You need to strip the coop and dust the girls, then repeat the whole process in 10 days. You need to treat the coop both times as well. A bottle of liquid Sevin is handy for painting onto the bottom of roosts, into cracks, etc. No need for oxine; it won't do anthing for lice or mites.

Ugh, but thank you, Flockwatcher. I do have liquid Sevin so I'll use that as well. I'll do the coop today and birds this evening.
