DE on chickens?

Yeah, I don't like things crawling on me either!

Here is a good picture of a "wolfie."

I have done my own research with animals and DE, and I know that it is useful in treating mites, lice, and parasites. No scientific papers published, but 20 years of raising chickens using nothing else but DE. I dust them with DE, use DE in their food, sprinkle DE throughout the chicken house, and dust their nest boxes. Absolutely healthy chickens, and zero loses.......except for the ones raised for the freezer. I do, however have evidence of DE working for a puppy that I bought for my grandson. He fell in love with Rose at first sight. I noticed flea dirt in her fur, but I was not prepared to find her covered with lice. I had never seen a dog with lice! Anyway, I bathed her with Dawn, shaved all her hair off, bathed her again, and dusted her with DE. I continued this daily for several days, before the week was over nothing was crawling. I also added DE to her first two feedings, and she was worm free.
