DE on Ducks Food

Has anyone used DE springled in their Duck Food? I am having lots of flies in and around their bowl of food. I use it with my Chickens, but, didn't know about putting it on Duck food.

I put it in all of my chickens and ducks food. It does help but doing a daily cleaning I think help more.

Thanks, I will try it. The ducks (2) run loose in our fenced in backyard, I just keep their eating water, I call it, and their flock raiser under a little shed to keep it dry,(as possible w/ducks) but flies have been on it constantly. We have a childs swimming pool for them to swim in.
