De-Stressing Scovie style! (Pics)

Charlotte took her ducklings out after a few days of being very stressed with her move into her new house and pen. She refused to come out of her nesting box for 2days so I placed a dish of crumbles mixed w/Avia Charge 2000 right in the corner of her nest box & filled it a few times a day. Once she came out today, though it was only 60 outside, she took not 1 bath but 3. lol
Aaahh, what a stressful few days, I sure needed that bath! (#1)

The kids are having fun, think I'll take another dip (#2)

Yep, those are all hers.

She is a good mom but I was surprised she got soooo wet on such a cool day. Just goes to show that we coddle our "babies" much more than the real mom's do. These little ones are only 1 wk old so I wanted to rush them in and put them under a light to get dry and toasty. They didn't seem any worse for their first cold bath ......brrrrrr!
