De-wormer...what works best?!

What dewormer do you use? I have tried wazine and strike lll...who likes what. What’s most effective?
Thanks 💜🐓
It depends on what you are worming for.
I've had fecal floats done and my chickens had some cecal worm eggs, a tapeworm egg and round worm eggs.
I wormed for round worm because that is what I saw deposited on the poop boards. I've used fenbedazole low dose 5 day treatment and piperazine. Both effective in that I would see dead worms dropped the morning after treatment and smaller ones on the 10-14 day follow up treatment.

Wazine only treated roundworms, and is no longer manufactured or sold in the last year. I like Valbazen sheep nd cattle wormer which can be found online, and in a few stores. The dosage is 1/2 ml for a 5 pound chicken given once and in 10 days. I don’t think that Strike III contains the same ingredients that it did a few years ago, and for that reason is not very effective, unless you have the old product. SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer dosage found in all TSC stores is 1/4 ml per pound given once and in 10 days for cecal and roundworms, and given for 5 consecutive days for all worms except tapeworm. There is the low dose formula that @DobieLover spoke of which can go in food. But Valbazen and SafeGuard normally are given to each chicken orally, and are not water soluble or will settle out of water. Most wormers require a 14 day egg withdrawal time for eating eggs.
