How often are you supposed to spread DE? Once a week, monthly, daily?

I put DE in the coop about once a month. Putting in a small amount (about 1 cup) every 2 weeks would probably be better, but I get lazy.

I do once a week or twice a week......but I have alot of chickens that make alot of scat.
