lol - y'all are sad this wasn't true... I feel happy! I was feeling very glum about the tale all day long, and now I understand it may not have happened. That said, I understand there is a lot of chicken-death out there. But I don't have the experience of you-all and it's been mortifying me all day; I keep checking on the chickens obsessively now. I knew it would be a mistake to come on BYC and learn more, lol! Not really, but, well, kinda. Sometimes you just don't want to know more, and about these awful realities for sure: don't want to know more. Except to never forget there are predators out there!
