Dead chickee

I don't know if this is the correct topic,sorry. I lost a baby today and I am sad. She was very lethargic in the late evening. I told my husband I did not think she would make it through the night. She was dead this am. I do not know what happened she was fine until about 4pm. I just do not know what happened to her. No blood on her she just began to move very slowly. She went to bed with the rest about 5:30. Sorry if this is the wrong topic. Just needed to share. Thanks

So sorry for your loss. I love my little chicklets an inordinate amount and this would have made me very sad too.

Thanks for the sympathy. I did not know I could care so much about a chicken. I did not even like birds until I got chickens.
