Dead chicken found with soft red spot under her vent.

Hey guys today i found one of my chickens dead under a small porch laying there like she was asleep.
When i picked her up i saw a soft red spot under her vent around 1 inch in diameter.I did not mess around with it in fear that it might do something explosive (better be safe).
I dispose of the carcass so if it is something it will not spread.
Also i had already seen this chicken with a discoloration on her wattle and i have 2 more with the same sympomts.
They eat and drink fine but i can't figure out if they lay any eggs since i have 60 chickens.
The enviroment is kinda muddy cause we had alot of rains the last 2 weeks and some ponds have formed.
Their cop however is nice and dry and they can sleep in 1 foot high wooden beams.
What could my 3 chickens have gotten into guys ???

Google prolapsed vent in chickens and look at pictures to see if any look like what you saw. Chickens can suffer prolapsed vents with or without having a stuck egg. The red exposed tissue can attract pecking.
Also, could she have been pecked under the vent by another chicken? Sorry for your loss.

No it was not the vent prolasped it was a red spot right under the vent that was flat with no bulging at all.
