Dead Chicken in the Henhouse (PICTURES)

Well I just got back from the chicken coop I have a dead Barred Rock Hen. She was found wedged between the water tub and the wall. No body has been sickly lately all 20 were alive this morning she has a wound in the top of her comb she had not had any part of her consumed, have they just been fighting?

How/why she died...

Poor girl.

did she perhaps get stuck/jammed somewhere or badly frightened and ran into a wall and killed herself?

She looks like her neck is broken in that last pic? Is that possible that she ran into the wall so hard it broke her neck and she got stuck there? IDK...sorry for your loss though!

It would have been possible for her to jam herself stuck but most likely, she ran into the wall in a frenzy.

It does not look like any animal bites to the cuts.
