It's day 16 and I'm leaning towards a dead egg. I've never had an egg die after the usual first 3-4 days of incubation sorting out the bad ones so I'm not 100% sure what a dead egg looks like this late into incubation besides google. The new Nurture Right has been giving me nothing, but trouble with humidity and temperature so I wouldn't be surprised if I get a few more 🙄😩 Definitely going to be upgrading to cabinet incubators after this hatch. I included pictures of both pointy side up and down. Thanks!

What were the problems with the temperature and humidity?

Looks dead. NR 360s are usually great incubators, I'm surprised yours' isn't working well. Can you describe the issues a bit more?

It hasn't been maintaining a steady humidity well. I have used nurture rights in the past and loved them with excellent hatch rates which is why when my old ones broke in the move I went and grabbed a new one. The humidity has been anywhere from 30% percent to 80% and temperature will randomly drop to 98 and then to 100. The onboard instruments are reading correctly according to the analog hygrometer and thermometer I added. It's annoying because it appears like it's maintaining temp/humidity well one day then I will walk by to check on it and see it randomly dropped or went up.

Well that's weird. My NR360, so far, always maintains the correct humidity and temperature. Maybe you got a defective incubator?

Is there any movement at all?
Try turning the egg the other way up and watching it.
I must admit it does look dead to me.
I had one which died last week and it look similar to that.

There was no movement and no veins. I ended up cracking it open and it was dead. After this hatch I think I'm going to re-calibrate this incubator and just keep it warmed up during hatching days in case a duckling needs to be kept warm but separated from the others. I'm definitely not going to use it for incubation purposes.
