I came home from work today and my guinea hen was dead :( I live in Pennsylvania near Philadelphia. It was 34 degrees all day today and last night was below freezing. This is the first cold snap she has been through. She hatched in early March. Did the cold kill her? I have 7 other chickens and a duck and they all seem to be fine.

I'm sorry. No, it shouldn't have anything to do with cold; they are much more cold hardy than that. Most of our Canadian members do not heat their coops, or only when temps fall to maybe minus 30F. Sometimes they die for no apparent reason.
