A few days ago I found like a squashed egg/yolk - no shell, in the coop, directly below the roost.
I jumped on this site - but what I could find was negligible on the subject.
This afternoon I found one of my Buff Brahmanas DEAD!
I'm concerned for my other 4 now. What happened!?
My girls are not quite a year old yet. I give them feed according to Becky’s Guide to Raising Backyard Chickens.
Their nesting boxes have straw. The floor of their coop has cedar. They spend all day scratching in their yard. I occasionally give them dandelions, fresh vegetables.
