Dead mouse stuck in wall

I have a decomposing mouse stuck in thr coop wall. Obviously, it smells...short of dismantling my coop, it's going to have to stay there. Is there anything chicken safe I can put on it to speed it up or help the odor? It's stuck between 2 layers of hardware cloth and they can peck it.
Sounds like dismantling then fixing how ever they are getting stuck is the best thing to do long term.

Pics of your set-up? Trying to figure out why you would have 2 layers of HC.
Ditto Dat.

Maybe one of these.

I have several of those. Who are great ratters and mousers. The problem is that they "discovered" the electrified chicken wire and won't go anywhere near the coop and run.

It's overlapped at the bottom of the coop and goes up the walls and is attached to the rafters. The entire inside of the coop, and floor (under the sand/bedding), is completely covered. It's basically a coop faraday cage. We have lots and lots of predators. Somehow they are coming up, in the ground, under the floor, and then getting stuck behind the wall cloth between the studs. I suspect they can smell the food and are trying to find a way into the area where it's at.

If it was that easy my friend, it would have been done long ago. 😆 But thanks for the advice! Patching is out for now, but we might get there. It's winter, perhaps the damn things will mummify.

No matter the season, eventually it will mummify, just the bones will be left.

This was found behind some lumber in the garage.
