Dead peahen and chicken

Last week, I noticed that one of my peahens was acting like something was caught in ther throat. Thrashed around and then was sluggish. The next morning, I found her on the coop floor dead.

Then, one of my chicken hens started acting differently - sluggish, not able to walk very well. The next morning, she was dead. Both birds seemed to have a squirt for poop.

I started them on antibiotics from the local Amway store. Water starved them for one day then added the gallon of solution to their waterers. I am hoping that this is the end of it. Does anybody know what worm this is and am I doing the right thing by giving them the antibiotics?

NOTE: The peafowl and the chickens are kept in different enclosures and coops but they are beside each other.

Thanks for any help and advise.
