Dead round worm in poop. What do I deworm the entire flock with?

Hello everyone, this week I started treating my D’uccle for Coccidia just to realized that she was also badly infested with mites. Yesterday I found in her poop what I believe to be a round worm. It was dead.
I did spray all of them with Permethrin and now I have to deworm all of them and I don’t know with what. I do have Panacur paste left from my mini horse. FYI they are also dealing with Foul Pox and some are molting. When it rains it pours.
Please let me know what I can use to deworm them.

Panacur paste is what our vet recommended when one of our bantam hens tested positive for roundworms last fall. If you like, I can look up the dosage he prescribed for our bantams (it varies, based on weight).

Personally, I'd wait until they're finished with the fowl pox to worm them, especially if you're already treating for mites...and coccidia? Is that a vet diagnosis? Wow, that's a lot to be dealing with at one time.

There are good articles here about what you need to do to your coop/housing to get rid of mites. It usually is not enough just to treat the birds.

You can use the paste. For large roundworms give the paste at 0.23 ml per pound of body weight orally once and repeat in 10 days. Paste is expensive compared to the liquid, so if you have a lot of birds you should probably get a bottle of Valbazen (albendazole), or a bottle of Safeguard for goats.

Valbazen dose is 0.08 ml per pound of body weight orally, repeat in 10 days. This will treat most worms that poultry get.

Safeguard dose for large roundworms and cecal worms is 0.23 ml per pound of body weight once, repeat in 10 days. This dose will not treat capillary worms or gapeworms.

Capillary worms require 0.23 ml per pound of body weight for 5 consecutive days.

Gapeworms require 0.14 ml per pound of body weight for 5 consecutive days.

you can sure see the worms .they must have been there for awhile .dont know where you live its been cold where i am that makes it hard to clean out and spray for mites unless you have 2 coops

Thank you for replying. Yes it a lot to deal with. Honestly I’m a bit overwhelmed. We live in South Florida therefore I use sand in the coop and I bought sand to replace the old one. My roosting bars come apart and I rinse/clean them every day. I cleaned the nesting boxes ( they are plastic) replaced all the bedding and dusted with DE. I clean the waterer and feeder twice a week and the coop every day, just so I don’t have to deal with this type of problems. They get ACV in the water, flock raiser and oyster shells.
I initially thought that it was Coccidia because she had it at the breeder when she was much younger but then I saw the horrible infestation she had so now maybe it was just the mites sucking the life out of her.
There are two groups. Her mates had mites as well I sprayed them with Permethrin. No Fowl Pox in this group so far. They come in the house every night because the coop is getting expanded and it’s not ready yet. They’re 4 months old.
The other group did get sprayed with Permethrin preventative because I didn’t see any signs of mites/lice on them but they do have the Fowl Pox and some are molting.
The second group is 4 months and 10 months old total of 14.

I would prefer to give it to them in liquid form since I have to treat all of them just to make sure. This is the first time I noticed anything in their poop. And the sample is from the one that had the real bad mite infestation....
I’m going to the feed store in about an hour so if you could advise what to administer I’ll buy and give it to them today.

How many do you have? If you have many then you should buy Valbazen, but most feed stores don't carry it.

It does not, as you now can see. Nor will ACV do anything either.

I am not a fan of sand, I think it's harder to keep clean

The best way to prevent them is to prevent roaches, rats and earthworms.
