Dead silkies. Lots of feathers. One small wound.

Had 4 dead silkies this morning in the yard. One had its head and neck ripped off but was still partly attached. Others had a small like bullet wound. Alot of there feathers were ripped out. These were hens that had been around our dogs for a long time. Never had trouble before. A coon or hawk would eat atleast some of them right?

Sorry for your loss. Coon or possum.Set a trap by the coop and see what comes back.

I have had a game camera set up the last three nights. Put some ham out inside a cage last night and nothing. Starting to think it is the neighbors or my dog. Just don't see how they could be around them for so long and just wake up one day and kill chickens.
