So today I have finished the new meat bird hoop house that my husband built yesterday (had to fence it all in and everything), moved 40+ cornish cross and 4 embden goslings into said hoop house, cooked breakfast, did 5 loads of laundry, folded 4 more loads of laundry, tried to fix the clogged dishwasher and finally gave in and did some dishes by hand because we were running out, played with the kids outside for hours letting them run and play in the kiddie pool and hose, bathed the dirty-from-playing children, cooked lunch, cleaned up after lunch, groomed one large dog and a angora bunny, fed and cleaned up behind 100+ chickens and ducks, collected eggs...
Now I am off to start making dinner.
I am filthy dirty, starving, and dead on my feet. But it's been a really good day.
