i used to watch that show, not much anymore.

Every time I watch it, I have mixed feelings. I watch these men nearly kill themselves for a few nubby crab legs, all so people can overspend at Red lobster and soak up cheese biscuits.
Oddly, I see this crab leg / Deadliest Catch thing as a symbol of 'conspicious consumption', while I back centralized agriculture and the petroleum business for now and the near future.
I know it seems weird to put it that way, but there it is.

It matters too, I suppose, that I never really liked crab legs.
