Deadwall for Shooting Range

Not home right now or I'd take a picture of mine but it's similar to this except stacked a little more organized.

As the others said, it depends on what caliber.

It depends on what you plan on shooting. I had 225 cubic yards of dirt dropped off at the house to build my own shooting berm in my back yard. I shoot anything from .22 to 50 caliber; semi to full auto.
No heavy hitting artillary or anything, just shotguns, if I ever get my dream Marlin, the neighbor's AR, my friend's 9mm. Standard fare.

Pile up some dirt and create a high enough berm. Reinforce the area behind the berm and find out what's beyond your berm prior to shooting. My berm was 35 feet wide, 15 feet tall and I had 5 acres of wooded land behind it, then a 20 foot highway sound barrier/wall.
