dealing with a chicken with a tumor

I keep laying hens, so I have never slaughtered a bird. One of my hens has a massive tumor so I want to get rid of her. I have two questions:
-What is the best way to do this considering that it is just the one bird to be processed?
-The large tumor is pretty unappetizing, since I don't want to eat her how should we dispose of her?

you can saturate a rag in starter fluid, it's ether and put it and her in a closed bin and she will just go to sleep. IMHO it's the most humane way of doing it.

With the ether she will suffocate.

I use a clean chop with an axe. Over and done.

A small rifle works, too. Then put the bird in your compost and let nature do its work.

Are you sure it's a tumor??? Is it on her right breast??? It could be her crop....make sure what it is first, please!!
