Woman, we need no man. Yes, I have one, but don't need one. You tube is your best friend for things you don't know how too do. I usually build my own or hire it done. If hub did it, it would be months before it got finished. Power tools are easy and a lot of fun. Send the hub to the store to pick up some groceries while you build your own.

So you would have no problem with new power tools magically appearing around the house/shed/shop?

Nope. I bought my hub a compressor with a nail gun for Christmas. I really am the one that wanted it though. I have wanted one for a few years now and he never asks for it. So this time I just bought it along with what he did ask for lol. We have a lot of power tools that I probably use as much or more then him. I do my own remodeling too, to a point. I love tiling and painting, building.
