Bummer, otherwise I'd be tempted to come over and you'd find me laying in your yard covered in 30 silkies, that just sounds like fun!
She was on top of the nest boxes this morning, and I swear she looked more like a cockatiel. She lost her whole tail too!

Do you keep a Govee or 2 in your bators at all times?

I'd love to see the stats from one for a week. Lol

I never kept track because I have over a dozen various Govee and other brands. I didn't need to keep track of it, so I didn't bother. Yes, I keep one or two hygrometer/thermometers in each incubator, when they fit.

With the closing of the 2025 hatching season, I have hatched over 500 silkie chicks. I plan to do about the same in 2026, with some of last year's pairs and some new ones.

If it's not broke, it doesn't need fixing. ☺️

Wow! That's a lot of chicks, congrats on a very successful 2025 :woot I love your Brinsea set up, it gives me goals :celebrate
