Thank you. I added the three now so a total of 13.

The other unhatched were dead. One certainly was ready and should have hatched but somehow got a wing over its face and smothered itself is my guess. That one was sad to see. The others, well, it just wasn't meant to be.

But at least these 13 are perfectly healthy and quite spunky already. 😊
Sorry you lost them :hugs
I'm glad the other babies are all healthy! They look so fluffy. Soooo cute ❤️

Thank you. I hope I'm past the "drama" eggs now. Whoever lays those perfectly oval eggs is still doing it so it's just the way she is I guess but I have to be more aware of making sure those are on their sides at least. If I catch any with the air cell on the side, we'll eat that one!

Congrats Debbie, adorable babies! 💖

Teddy is gorgeous! As are all of your chickens but he's quite stunning! Why are all the pretty roos always the ones that are so mean? I've gotten rid of a few roos over the years and every time it's got to be the prettiest one we had, but it's not just that they are mean to us, it's when they are fighting with the other roos and horrifyingly mean to the hens.
I don’t have Roos running together just for that reason. I had a young cockerel die last year because of that.

Which is why Teddy and the silkies are sequestered in their own little kingdom.

Of course there is still Bert, still running with his Dada and the rest of the gang - here is hoping his Dada teaches him wisely 💕😊

It appears one with the air cell at both ends is alive as it's pulsating in there. It pushed most of the small end out so almost looks normal now. I can't see anything in the small end but a real small air sac.

The others, I'm afraid are dead as I saw no movement at all. I put them back in there though.

I left three chicks in there to dry but rescued these out of there. They were sure happy! View attachment 3799586
Oh my gosh they are sooooo cute! I just love them 😊

And I am glad the one egg has its air cells figured out. I sure hope the other two eggs are good even though that may not look like it is not the case.

I sure hope that you get a few more eggs hatching 💕

He looks gray(silver birchen).
Ah! Ok good to know 😊

I wonder what colour my Martybis in that case, I call her black but she has blonde neck and chest feathers

The frizzle beside her is Curly she’s a splash 😊 I have a daughter of hers who is 20 weeks old, Betty - her Dada is my Polish Roo.
