We are suppose to buy some red sex link pullets in October. They have been vaccinated and are debeaked. I have read on treads about the horrors of doing this. Can ya'll please tell me if I should purchase these chickens and any info on debeaking. Thanks

I would not purchase debeaked chickens for my own flock.

Chickens can be so mean to each other, I wouldn't want to have some that couldn't defend themselves with their beaks against bullies.

Plus, I think debeaked hens look really sad.

Make it clear to the people that you are not buying their birds specifically because they engage in this practice!

Yep, I agree. One of my neighbors bought a few hens from a breeder who debeaks his hens. They have a hard time picking up food, so they spend much more of their time trying to get enough nutrition. They also have a harder time drinking.
