I still have not had any quail hatch and by my calculations they should have hatched yesterday. I broke one open yesterday and it was just a scrambled yolk. My mom opened up three today...one was a scrambled yolk with a black spot, one was black, and one was a formed peep with a beak but not alive. So, I am going to leave them in for a couple more days because I am holding out hope that maybe there are a couple that will hatch yet since the one was developed.

So shall there be a Jan. swap? The bator's empty and I'm trying to decide if I should buy some eggs or wait to see what would arrive from a swap

(Or, whether I'd have time to do a hatch between now and then..)
