No, unless I guess they ask you to. Should be able to tell if they are lf or bantam. I was asking about the duck, turkey, etc eggs because they incubate a week longer than chicken eggsm and if I get any, I would know to incubate longer.

I always mark mine so I can tell all my breeds apart when they are in the turners waiting to be set. Darn!

It is actually up to the partners as to whether or not you let them know. Some don't want to know and some, like me can't stand secrets. lol. We do occaisionally have mystery swaps that require secrets. I haven't gotten to that point yet. Soon maybe.

Received my eggs today!! Sure hope they are OK!! I had 3 green ones that didnt make it

The package job was wonderful but I think they just took a beating ... But 4 green ones and 3 whites surrvived. I had to rinse one of the green ones but I think it should be fine for duck eggs to be rinsed.. So come on duckies

This will be my 1st hatch with waterfowl

Today was like Christmas going to the post office. Can't wait to find out what I got. Anyones help to helping me figure out what I got would be most appreciated.
