Sounds like you are doing what you can. Sending positive thoughts your way.I’m a bit concerned about the last egg. The chick I guess actually piped this morning. It didn’t break through the membrane and its made no sound. The humidity dropped off last night so I was worried the little guy was being shrink wrapped. So I’ve added water to the incubator and this morning I poked a small hole in the membrane and I wiped it with some olive oil. This evening I chipped the shell enlarging the hole I’m going to leave it alone but this chick has been silent this whole time I’m not very hopeful.
Update, day 115:Hi, I had 8 eggs in my incubator and it is day 9 today here are the results:
2 undeveloped
1 died on day 4
2 I can't tell
3 are definitely alive
I'm coming here on a break from poly-sci-final-essay-hell (why did I decide to take a hard class??) to let you all know that the egg I pulled from under my Ayam Cemani hen is internally pipped!
