The remaining 6 hatched!!!!! 35 out of 39 I set is not bad at all. 3 were infertile and one blood ring, 35 went to lockdown and 35 hatched.

How cute! Congratulations!! We are up to five now! I'm going to give my eggs until day 24 at least before I give up all hope. We have 14 more in the incubator. I'm hoping for at least a couple more!

@rccheshire are you still waiting on 15 to externally pip? Do you check internal pips? How are the 4 doing?

We had a surprise 4th pip and zip and hatch in 30min today. 2 left and I'm wondering if I should candle for movement or take the other chicks out and have a listen for chirps.

My one last little Cochin was peeping loudly in the shell at 9 pm last night, and by 1am was DIS.

Zero chicks for the December hatch - I think they were just too compromised by rough shipping.

Really sorry to hear that. So your chick did an internal pip and then ran out of air before external pipping?

Okay 35 went to lockdown and so far 7 have hatched 3 are pipped but one is on the wrong end it pipped yesterday morning and then turned to the other end and is now back to where it started it is talking and has its beak stuck out of the shell but has not started zipping yet.
